I've been repairing stringed plucked instruments for the past twenty years, classical, metal stringed, acoustic and electric, jazz, electric solidbodies, basses, mandolas, mandolines & banjos, installing transducers, electro-magnetic pickups, m.o.p. & abalone inlays, varnish & lacquers etc, as well as building guitars, mandolas, and custom made instruments cover most of my activities.

Although I work with standard traditional woods when building stringed instruments (mahogany, maple, rosewood, ebony, spruce, cedar, etc.) I also favor other less known varieties as amazaque, pink ivory, tasmanian blackwood, purpleheart, vahuatnu wood, etc, for sides, backs, fingerboards, woods that also enhance in their own way acoustic and aesthetic values.

I work with SERVETTE 92 MUSIC store in Geneva, specialized in wind instruments and guitars ( approx. 300 on show, from beginners to very high standards). I have a workshop next to the showroom, for receiving customers, doing estimates and repairs.

Here are some makes that have been through my workshop :

Folk : Santa Cruz, Martin, Gibson, Taylor, Lowden etc.

Jazz : Epiphone, D 'Angelico, Boris, D'Aquisto, Gibson, Benedetto etc.

Classical : Ramirez, Lowden, Dieter Hopf, Walter Vogt etc.

Electrics : Fender, Gibson, PRS, Musicman etc.

Banjos : Weymann, Bacon & Day, Gibson, Paramount, SS Stewart etc.

I also work in the Geneva countryside, in Avully, a village near to the Rhone river ten miles from the city. A workshop with machine tools, woods stockage, for more complex repairs and building , and absolute necessity a professionnal spray booth.

You will find in the next pages of the site complete addresses of the premises where I work, and hopefully you will visit at some time.
